Well I don’t exactly remember how I come to this idea nor what I wanted to achieve. Just started to play with idea of drawing fire and ended up with it eventually. Nut much to tell there.

Hmm but if I think little bit more I remember that I wanted to try and play with new CS4 features related to drawing vectors. It just that they allowed to draw a lot trough providing arrays of data in to one command. Seemed perfect for 25lines

And here is the code. Seems to me a less horrible thing then in previous entree but still horrible…

Thing to mention is that people did like that effect. It in refactored form even ended up in onyx-vj and am even mentioned there But it is mostly work of one of contributors who like this small but horrible peace of code that produced that fire like effect
